You are using an overpowered skill to perform a meaningless feat. Your record only means something if you can pull it off consistently. i.e. 100 times in a row. If you're able to do that, that's even more reason that the skill is overpowered and your achievement is ridiculous.

The first thread is gone, the second thread is locked, and you still want to talk about this? Learn your place. Guru is sick of hearing about this.

And a big "LOL" at PvE ever being up for consideration as an e-sport.

The mods should make it if you use "shadow form" or "sf" your post gets automatically deleted. Im sure everyone is tired of hearing about SF already, just use ur overpowered skill till it gets nerfed and spot posting about this stuff plz

*I* am not using SF as I stated very clearly in my post and it is definitively not "my" record. Had nothing to do with it, never did an UWSC. But you carefully chose to ignore that. I was just intrigued by their need to publish a record like accomplishment.

As for your big LOL... well once again your ignorance is bliss (if you know the saying). If you don't see any potential then that's really sad. Being dismissive is not being cool but it does feed one's ego.

Anyway it does seem like this community is really not mature enough to even carry out a simple conversation where it is implied that we don't all have to agree and we are able to respect each other's opinions. So awkwardly, I must agree with the first couple of posters, this discussion will never result in anything sensible... so mods you can close the thread if you wish.

1,2,3,XP? in a row, without the use of heroes till you get to nightfall(which actualy means playing like we used to) main quests only!

fun fun i recommend everyone doing it at least once, before posting on here or running an SF build or farm. should try it.

Wether those who dislike shadowform , and hopes it gets nerfed - likes it or not,

the community is split in 4 , pvp'ers who plays and create inovative new ways after each update , who plays for the thrill , exitement and competitive side . then you got the other side - who whines and complains in a never ending river of tears.

now , weve all known - and accepted that , for years with guildwars as our favorite game - why ? because thats just the state of play in this game ,

now as i said , the community is split in 4 - the other two , being the PvE community (yes pvp'ers i know you dont like we exist. but we do, deal with it)

On one hand - we have those who wants to play the game as originally intended , quest together - and do missions, loot , farm . and showoff their latest new ''gold drop''. by all means , this is good . and this side allso has a hunger for creating new and exiting way's of doing everything in the game .

on the other hand - we have the speed hungry community , I for one - am one of these people , I've played guildwars since the release of factions . i hopped on , ocationally to play some guildwars , and waste a few hours of my life - whenever bored , UNTILL. speedclears started . now - speedclears started WAY before shadowform got buffed, before ursan . well - before all that .

[agro] started doing speed clears with the release of factions at hand - they started destroying ''The Deep''.

[KaiZ] started doing speed clears of DoA with the openeing of DoA, so as weve cleared out now - speed clears have existed for a long time. yet - we who find fun times - and competition in clearing elite areas - zones, hell - even quests and missions in the FASTEST possible way. are NOT getting acknowledged by all those who DISLIKES speed clears,

we DO exist - and wether or not shadow form is overpowered and wtf not, the point of this thread was to raise the question DO WE NEED RECOGNITION! . and the answer is yes,

so to all of you out there who are NOT a part of the speed hungry community - those of you who does NOT find speed clears a fun addition - and competitive record hunters a real part of the game ? - stop trolling these threads , go play the game as YOU want too - we arrent telling you what not to do , and whats stupid and overpowered . mind your own play style ,

Ah man,
Why do these treads always have to come up? Some of the posters above are right. There are different kinds of players in GuildWars and right now the hype is SC. There will always be people wining about speed clears. It does not matter if they nerf SF (Which I'm totally against it) they will always complain.

SC community will find another way to speedclear and I bet again, the complains will start poping up again nerf that skill, nerf this, nerf that, because I dont do it or done it enough that I have enough ecto's, etc

Guild Wars 1 has a limited life span now that GW2 is so close to be released. I bet that most of the people playing GW1 will move to GW2. At the most, this game has about 2 years or less before everyone moves to GW2. I

If you keep playing GW1 it will be because you want to unlock something in gw2 before then. Right now SC and PvP are what is left of this game. I do PvE to Vanquish and to help guild members on their quests, but mostly keep myself to SC and PvP.

This is all that is left of this game. I started since Prophecies was released like many of you. Just close this tread and let people move on.

ANET if you read this, just a note. The reason that most of my Guild and some of my friends are still here and that actually came back to the game was because of the Speed Clears. If you nerf skills to avoid that you are going to loose quite a few players.

Yes but IIRC the original thread was by a different OP...

Guru has seen and been through enough of these threads already.They achieve nothing other than giving the moderator +1 to their monthly stats.
